Croydon Council  is currently improving their website. For this project I created 2 prototypes for user testings for the adult health and social care information pages. As this page holds a lot of information we needed to find a way to make this digestible for the user as well as allow them to find information quickly in a simple way. The two prototypes included two different patterns an accordion-style list with bold headlines helping the user pick specific information they would like to read about. The second prototype focused on a step by step design pattern inspired by gov.uk allowing the user to see all the information on the page and then navigate through the step by step pattern to find what they need. This was then passed to the user research team and was A/B tested, with the second prototype being easier to use by our residents.
